Metal Work
I custom-designed and custom-welded all of the metal fixtures used in the construction of WerkHaus.
The gusset plates, column stirrup
bases, and awning frames were fabricated during the Spring, before any other construction had commenced.
CNC plasma cutting, run directly from my CAD drawings, was used to form the thru-bolt holes of the plates.
This method allowed for accuracy and efficiency.
The metal work was then preserved with paint or clear sealant.
