Movable Gardens

Emily and I now offer a solution for those who live in an apartment or have limited outdoor space for growing a garden. Our Movable Gardens are durable, rot-resistant, and easy to move. We build our garden boxes with environmentally-friendly cedar, not plastic. The boxes can be built in any size, however, they generally are 3-4 feet wide by 3-4 feet long. Greenovision Movable Gardens are available with an optional polycarbonate lid, which is a twin-cell 8mm greenhouse glazing plastic and is unbreakable. The polycarbonate helps to amplify the temperature within the Movable Garden, allowing the gardener to begin planting seeds earlier in the Spring as well as keep the plants growing later in the Fall. The lids also help to protect the plants from frost and cold. The lid should be lifted when temperatures are above 55 degrees F to prevent the inside temperature from getting too hot. We use durable 8-10 inch inflatable wheels, which allow the grower to move their garden around to chase the sun or to move the garden indoors when it is cold. We also build cedar bins that fit inside each Movable Garden. The bins allow the gardener to carry their vegetables inside for easy harvesting.
